Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary

As a Geotechnical Engineer with our Oklahoma City office you will be responsible for the following:

  • Direct the day-to-day operations of drilling and reporting
  • Prepare and/or review geotechnical deliverables
  • Independently apply diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments
  • Provide technical and administrative expertise
  • Review the work of intern engineers, inspectors, and technicians for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform engineering studies
  • Implement the quality assurance program
  • Interface with clients to handle inquiries about reports, special requests, and complaints
  • Prepare proposals for new work and presentations of Company qualifications for major projects
  • Participate in professional organizations and interfaces with technical organizations regarding current technical issues
  • Interact with laboratory personnel and assign testing
  • Analyze and report testing data

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a PhD Degree is Preferred
  • PE License in Oklahoma or the ability to obtain the PE within 6 months
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience. Local experience is preferred
  • Experience interfacing with clients on a regular basis
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Experience in using geotechnical software such as gINT, Geo-Studio
