Coffee Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant - Standard Testing and Engineering Company

The most reliable way to demonstrate overall qualifications and specific competence is through:

  • Professional Licensing, and
  • Accreditation by a Recognized Accreditation Authority

Standard Testing and Engineering is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (CA #7933) and employs six registered professional engineers.

Enid, Lawton & Tulsa Lab Accreditations

The Standard Testing & Engineering laboratories in Enid, Lawton and Tulsa are accredited and/or validated by:

  • AASHTO (American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials)
  • Accreditation Program (AAP), and
  • Army Corps of Engineers' Validation Program

Oklahoma City Lab Accreditations

The Oklahoma City office maintains current AAP accreditation in asphalt mixtures, soils, aggregates, and sprayed fire-resistant materials.

Our Oklahoma City laboratory also has AAP accreditation for ASTM C1077 (Aggregate), D3666 (Concrete), D3666 (Aggregate), D3666 (Asphalt Mixture), D3740 (Soils), and E329, "Specifications for Agencies Engaged in the Testing and/or Inspection of Materials Used in Construction," for aggregate, asphalt mixture, concrete, fire resistive material, and soil.

In addition, Standard Testing and Engineering is currently accredited by AAP for 50 ASTM soil testing standards and 112 other testing standards (162 in total).

Reasons to hire an ASTM E329 Qualified Testing Laboratory

An ASTM E329 accreditation means that we will provide the assurance that our testing laboratory is qualified to do the work right.  Here are a few reasons for hiring us:

  • We participate in inter-laboratory comparisons and proficiency testing programs
  • Our Staff is trained and certified
  • We calibrate our equipment at required intervals
  • We maintain a Quality System appropriate to the type, range and volume of inspection and testing activities undertaken
  • Our labs are inspected and accredited by recognized accreditation authorities at least every three years

reduce Risk and liability

Many federal, state, local and private contracts specify that testing services be performed by an ASTM E329 accredited laboratory.  Risk and liability for the owner, contractor, and supplier are reduced through use of this accreditation because results are recognized by the courts and are readily accepted by knowledgeable construction professionals.

I do want to say I appreciate everything you all do for me. I know that I am constantly making changes due to conditions in the field as far as scheduling, which I know makes it hard on Kevin and the techs. Kevin is always understanding and does everything he can to make things work.

I can’t say enough how much I enjoy working with Kevin. He is the reason I chose standard to do the QC for me on EOC-2461, and my experiences with him and the rest of your organization on that project is why I chose to keep with Standard on EOC-2443B.

Again, thank you for everything you do and always working with me and my ever changing testing schedule. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
